Hydrogen as energy carrying alternative
Conducted techno-economic study considering 4 options of using hydrogen from large offshore wind farm.
Option-1: Wind power dispersal through underground transmission system using HVAC, HVDC LCC & HVDC VSC
Option-2: Convert wind energy to Hydrogen to generate electricity to meet the power system demand.
Option-3: Convert wind energy to Hydrogen and use as vehicle fuel in passenger cars.
Option-4: Combined use of wind power through HVAC transmission system and converting the remaining wind energy to Hydrogen for vehicle fuel in passenger cars.
